The pop star will release his record Purpose on November 13, the same day the band are set to drop Made In The A.M, and he thinks they are only going on a break to generate publicity for their new album having hijacked his campaign. Hmmm, okay then Justin.
"They're not really going on the road much, but we're talking about them right now, so it gives them some promo, right?" he told New Zealand radio show Smash! "That's probably why they did it . . . I think it was strategy on their part because my release date was first."
We think someone might be getting a bit confused.
One Direction certainly don't need the publicity and are going on an extended break for up to a year because they have been on the road constantly for years.
